Once you arrive at the airport, Kardamena is only 10 minutes by car, situated on the South side of Kos island. First impression you get is that you are going to have the time of your life.Restaurants, bars,night clubs and turist shops flood this small village.Near the main square you will find abank,ATM'S, achemist and the local taxi station.
The beach spread from the east to the west side reaches 12 km.Families will appreciate the shallow bay and youngers visitors can enjoy themselves at one of many watersports stations along the coastline.There are many appartments and hotels,offering most of them,a swimming pool for public use. The nightlife is simply amazing and stars early in the evening till the sun rises again the next morning.In bars music finished at midnight but you can continue in one of the night clubs.The restaurants offer international dishes and are generally inexpensive.

The climate in the area is Meditaranian. This way we do not have cold winters (very few times the temperature goes under O*C or never), we do not have extremely hot summers (temperatures around 35*C). From May to October it hardly ever rains. Spring and Fall in the night time is quite humid. Sometimes in the winter we have strong northern winds. In spring and summer we have the winds called "meltemia" very rarely.
